Seems that the registration emails were not getting sent. Thanks AT&T. They changed their server setting not to allow sending emails on one account with the address of another. So, Gmail to the rescue. Emails for registrations are coming from mailer@jazz-sax.com. Look for that perhaps in your spam blocker or whatever.

I recently tried to register, but because of the e-mail bug, I didn’t get a registration e-mail. Help please?

Still can’t register. Tried 24 hours ago, and no email with password. Tried the junk folder, no email.
When did you delete your old user list? It has been quite a while since I got your emails. My old registration was UID 5014, nickname Jim, but that does not seem to work anymore.
I tried to register again today, but it said the user name was taken. So I tried logging in, figuring I could at least confirm that I had sent the registration, and it said, it was an invalid username.
Problem was that you used the email address twice.
The old users from the Slashdot type site got trashed unless there were comments associated with the user id.
Try it again, as Jim.
